General Sickness Guidelines

For the protection of each child, any child who appears to be ill with any of these symptoms will not be accepted in a kids classroom.

NO MEDICATIONS WILL BE ADMINISTERED

Fever:

A temperature within the previous 24 hours of 100.4 degrees or greater.

Diarrhea:

Uncontrolled diarrhea or vomiting within the previous 24 hours will not be permitted to enter the classroom.

Vomiting:

A child who has vomited within the last 24 hours should not attend.

Cough:

A wet, wheezy or hacking cough is a serious condition. It exposes children in the class to germs.

Green and yellow mucus from the nose indicates infection and not a simple allergy or cold.

Rash/Body Language:

Lethargy, uncontrolled breathing, rash with fever, mouth sores with drooling, or wheezing.

Eyes/Ears:

An eye/ear infection. The eyes need to be clear and not excessively runny, itchy, red, filled with pus or inflamed.

Any child with lice will not be permitted until it has been cleared for 48 hours.

Any child who becomes ill during a church activity will be isolated and parents will be contacted and asked to pick up the child immediately.

We thank you for adhering to our guidelines and policies as we strive to keep everyone safe and healthy.
