The Bible
The Holy Bible was written by men inspired by God and is God's revelation of Himself to man. God is its author and therefore it is perfect, without mixture of error, totally true and trustworthy. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.
Psalm 19:7-10; Hebrews 1:1-2; 2 Peter 1:19-21; 2 Timothy 3:16-17
God
There is one and only one living and true God. He is Creator, Redeemer and Ruler of the universe. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes but without division of nature, essence or being.
Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Psalm 19:1-3; Jeremiah 10:10; 1 Corinthians 8:6;
Jesus
Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Fully God, and fully man, he perfectly revealed and did the will of God, identifying completely with mankind yet was completely sinless. In obedience, he offered himself as a sacrifice for the redemption of all men from their sin by dying on a cross. He was raised from the dead after three days and then ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God. He will one day return in power and glory to reign. He now dwells in all believers as the living and ever present Lord.

The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, equally divine with the Son and the Father. He enables us to understand truth, and convicts us of our sins and of our need for salvation. From the moment we accept Christ, he dwells in us. He directs us on how to live Godly lives, comforts us and give us spiritual gifts by which we serve God through His church.

Mankind
People are made in God’s own image and are the crowning work of His creation. By God man was given freedom of choice, yet through the temptation of Satan man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. Though we are capable of doing good things, we are all imperfect and in need of redemption. Only the grace of God can bring man into His holy fellowship and enable man to fulfill the creative purpose of God. God created man in His own image, and in that Christ died for man; therefore, every person of every race possesses full dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.
Genesis 1:26-30; Romans 3:10-12; Ephesians 2:1-22;
Salvation
Salvation comes from Christ’s sacrifice and is offered freely to all who accept Him as Lord and Savior. There is no salvation apart from a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. We become new creatures in Christ when we turn from our sin and commit ourselves to Jesus. We are then justified and brought into a relationship of peace and favor with God. Believers are set apart for God’s purposes and with the help of the Holy Spirit we continue to grow in spiritual maturity.

The Family
God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption.
a. Marriage
Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for life. It is God’s unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His church and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to biblical standards, and the means for procreation of the human race.
The husband and wife are of equal worth before God, since both are created in God’s image. The marriage relationship models the way God relates to His people. A husband is to love his wife as Christ loved the church. He has the God-given responsibility to provide for, to protect, and to lead his family. A wife is to submit herself graciously to the servant leadership of her husband even as the church willingly submits to the headship of Christ. As her husband’s equal, she has the
God-given responsibility to respect her husband and to serve as his helper.
b. Children
Children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord. Parents are to demonstrate to their children God’s pattern for marriage. Parents are to teach their children spiritual and moral values and to lead them, through consistent lifestyle example and loving discipline, to make choices based on biblical truth. Children are to honor and obey their parents.
